ABOUT

I created this blog to post my favorite recipes I have found on the Internet or other people have given me in the past or I have created myself. Most of the recipes I have printed end up getting stuffed in a drawer in the kitchen and then I start sorting through a stack of papers for a particular recipe. Therefore, I have decided to create a blog to have easier access to my favorite recipes and to share with others.

Chocolate Cake #2

2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup buttermilk
One buttermilk substitute that uses vinegar is to mix one tablespoon of distilled white vinegar with enough milk to measure one cupStir the mixture and let it sit for five minutes. However, some say that the vinegar can make the flavor taste harsh and sharp, which is different from buttermilk's mellow tang (AI Overviews in Google Search)
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup hot coffee

Bake 350 degrees
9x13 pan
